Delete your account.

Per Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v) · Two paths below

You can delete your Mindmic account at any time. The fastest path is in-app — the alternative is emailing us from the address on the account.

Option 1: In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Mindmic.
  2. Tap the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll to the Danger zone section.
  4. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

The deletion runs immediately: we remove your AI Podcast session records from our database, then delete your account from Amazon Cognito. You are signed out on the device, and we retain no way to recover the account afterward.

Option 2: By email

If you cannot sign in to the app, email support@mindmic.info from the address registered with your account. Subject line: "Delete my account". We process the deletion within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

Apple still manages the subscription itself — cancel it separately in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone if you don't want to be re-billed.

What stays on your device

Your local recordings remain on your iPhone unless you delete the app or remove them from the Library tab. We never had a copy. Deleting your account does not touch your recordings.

What we keep (and for how long)

We do not retain any personal information about deleted users. There is no "cooling off period" — once the deletion completes, your account and your AI Podcast session records are gone from our systems entirely.

Subscription notes

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription. If you have an active AI Podcast subscription, cancel it separately in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or you may continue to be billed by Apple.
